UNISON Northern Ireland

UNISON gears up for strike ballot in Health

NHS workers in Northern Ireland get less pay than workers in Scotland, England and Wales. This is unfair and unacceptable. You can view the disparities in your salary compared to Scotland, England and Wales using our pay scale comparision guide here.

UNISON have started preparations to ballot our members in health calling for strike action and action short of strike.

We wan't to send a message to our politicians, that NHS workers in Northern Ireland won't be left behind and we demand full funding to bridge the gaps for fair pay.

Look out for your ballot paper in the post - Your ballot is your voice. Please remember to make sure your UNISON membership details are up to date. If we do not have your correct address, you will not receive your ballot! To update your details call our membership team on 028 90270190.

The ballot opens on Monday 21st October, ensure you return your ballot paper on time. CLOSE DATE for return of ballot papers is 10am on MONDAY 11TH NOVEMBER.

If you do not receive a ballot, replacement ballot requests can be made from 24th October to 12noon 6th November - contact UNISON Direct on 0800 085 7857.
