CLARIFICATION ON SAFE STAFFING

Health Trade unions note the decision by NIPSA to suspend industrial action..Action short of strike in social services.

The current pressures across the health services to respond to the Coronavirus place responsibility on all sides to cooperate in meeting this challenge.

Additionally health trade unions were able to assist in ensuring DOH clarifications were made available to NIPSA on the purpose and intent of the Ministerially endorsed Framework Agreement and developments to date with health trade unions to progress this work.
