UPCOMING STRIKE ACTION THIS THURSDAY 18.01.24

UNISON members throughout support services in Education and the Health services are preparing for a big day of Industrial action.

For more than 12 months now members in Health Trusts and arms length bodies have led the way in industrial action.

Thursday will be your sixth day of strike for pay parity. You have never given up  and have steadfastly pursued your demands. UNISON is proud of the determination of  our members in the Health service to secure pay parity.

Education support service workers have now stepped into the fight waiting 4 years and more  for  a review of a pay spine that should be more fairly applied and improved. You have all shown an equal determination to  achieve pay improvement.

Those with a political mandate on this island and those in power across the water will know that UNISON   members  in Health and Education you will not remain silent or accept  a no pay and poor pay deadlock.
