UNISON Walks for Palestine

UNISON Royal & Muckamore Branch joined together on Saturday with friends for a walk in the Belfast Hills to raise money for the people of Palestine.

The wet weather didn’t put off the keen walkers, and the branch would like to extend their thanks to those who sent donations and messages of support to the Palestinian people.

Funds raised will go towards a new health project for Palestine (H4P) in the Aida and Azza refugee camps in the occupied West Bank. This project aims to utilize community health workers to address the most chronic diseases, as well as the effects of trauma.

If anyone would like to donate, contact 028 906 33826 to leave a message and we will get back to you.
