Understanding Fluid and Electrolyte balance in Health Care

In this tutorial, the participants will have the opportunity to,

(i) review the concept of fluid and electrolytes in the human body,

(ii) understand how fluid and electrolyte homeostasis is maintained and

(iii) recognise and effectively care for the person in whom fluid and electrolyte homeostasis is compromised

.  It is targeted at nurses, student nurses/midwives, health care assistants and paramedics but open to any member.
