From Northern Ireland to Colombia ...

Last week, Anne Speed, UNISON NI’s Head of Bargaining and Representation, travelled to Colombia to take part in trade union delegations.
Alongside the Justice for Colombia Peace Monitor delegation, Anne attended talks to observe the state of the 2016 peace agreement, and the broader human rights situation in Colombia .
The delegation visited different regions in the country, and in Bogota they held meetings with representatives of the Colombian government and the attorney general’s office, as well as leaders of political parties.
