James Connolly Visitor Centre

UNISON Northern Ireland Regional Secretary Patricia McKeown joined over 100 trade unionists from the US and Canada to celebrate the opening of the James Connolly Visitor Centre.
UNISON members and supporters were led in a parade by the president of Labourers International Union of America, Terry O’Sullivan, and Ireland’s president, Michael D Higgins, to the new centre on the Falls Road on Friday 19th April.
Crowds met at Conway Mill and marched to the centre holding union banners and flags, with some dressed as mill workers.
