First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Communist
Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist
Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist
Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew
Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me.

Stand up to Racism (SUTR) is holding an online event, Tuesday 26 January, marking Holocaust Memorial Day 2021.The Holocaust Memorial Day Trust announced that the theme for 2021 is “Be the light in the darkness” – much needed after a difficult 2020.

The Executive Office are also holding a free online memorial ceremony Tomorrow from 7-8pm. You can register for the ceremony event HERE.
