UNISON’s There for You charity provides essential support for members who are experiencing financial difficulties. This is a 2 day course to provide new Welfare Officers with the knowledge and skills to enable members to access this support. It will include understanding the UNISON welfare charity structure and staff responsibility, as well as how to complete the required paperwork. It also explores issues such as confidentiality and active listening.
