Sepsis – Principles of Microbiology and Impact on Management

One of the major challenges threatening Patient Safety today in both primary and secondary care, is Infection. In this tutorial, the participants will have the opportunity to review their understanding of the principles of microbiology within the context of human infection and to discuss the role of the HCP in recognising infection and optimising safe, appropriate and effective care management strategies with regard to its prevention and treatment.
