This workshop will explore the impact of psychological and physical pain on those who are at end of life. The session will give participants an understanding of the concept of Total Pain; an increased awareness of the need to adopt a systematic whole person approach to total pain assessment and management and using a case study - the application of the knowledge of total pain by MDT in managing patient symptoms.
