This half day workshop is open to all members but will be of particular relevance to members working in homecare, care homes and hospital settings. It seeks to develop the knowledge, understanding and application of palliative care principles across a variety of care settings - community, care homes and hospital. By its nature palliative care encompasses physical, psychological, social and spiritual aspects of care to patients and their families. Linking these aspects to care delivery, the workshop will encourage those delivering care to reflect on current practice, and suggest ways in which future palliative care practice could be enhanced.
