Health and Safety representatives play a key role in workplaces and the number has increased substantially following a resolution by Regional Council to ensure that all stewards are trained. This one day workshop is for Branch Health & Safety Officers to ensure that you are equipped to support them and develop a H&S strategy within your branch. It will explore the role of the H&S Officer, how you fit in with branch structures, how to work with your H&S reps to hold employers to account for safety. The tutor is Joe Lynch, lay tutor
